6-8 baking potatoes
3 T. oil
kosher salt and/or table salt
Wash potatoes and slice thinly at an angle. Place in a bowl or zip-lock bag and add oil. Mix thoroughly with hands until all potato pieces are oiled. Place on a greased cookie sheet and sprinkle with salt. Broil on high for 6-8 minutes (depending on how hot your oven is and/or how crispy you like your chips).

I frequently make oven fries, but not chips. I need to remember to do this, especially when I have potatoes that need to be used up.
